Garage Conversion, Rugby

Garage conversions occasionally require planning permission when the intended use constitutes a material change that significantly deviate from the original purpose of the garage. For example, a garage conversion might require permission if the property is part of a new-build estate where the garage's use is governed by restrictive covenants or conditions set by the developer or local planning authorities. This was the case for our client in Rugby.

These conditions might stipulate that the garage must remain available for parking to ensure adequate off-street parking, which is a common concern in planning applications. In this case, we were able to simply evidence the possibility of still maintaining three parking spaces at the front of the property, which the client already made use of (and wasn't using the garage anyway!)

Slight and Simple Modifications

Some plans require only outline detail, with very limited information in order to request, for instance a required change of use, such as in this case. Yet even with these, we can help you to gain approval through the required plans you need.
