A client tasked us with designing a luxury shoe and handbag store in a newly built mall, aligning with their franchise’s high-end identity. We created a space where elegance meets function, using premium materials, bespoke displays, and inviting layouts to enhance the customer experience.
The challenge in this project stemmed from the fact that a company named Pandora (unrelated to Pandora jewellery) operated a franchise in Iran, previously utilizing modern, dark, and white materials that, while contemporary, were considered low-quality.
This approach was not acceptable to the new mall's management, as the lease agreements for all shops mandated the use of high-quality materials and décor to align with the upscale aesthetic of the shopping centre.
This was where we came in.
The shop's ceiling was notably low, featuring only a central, cylindrical recess that extended an additional 50cm upward. I capitalized on this architectural feature by designing a ceiling dome that aligns perfectly with the lighting dedicated to showcasing 'seasonal products'. This dome not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also directs attention to the cylindrical display table below, which I also crafted. This table, positioned in harmony with the floor tiles, creates a cohesive and visually engaging presentation area.
